The new offering, available across all Audi models, gives customers the option to extend their vehicle warranty up to a decade.
Audi India has launched an industry-first 10-year extended warranty and 15-year roadside assistance (RSA) programme, signalling a major play for long-term loyalty and peace of mind in the ultra-competitive Indian luxury car market.
The new offering, available across all Audi models, gives customers the option to extend their vehicle warranty up to a decade—covering manufacturing defects and offering mileage protection up to 200,000 km. Additionally, Audi’s "Top Assist" RSA programme provides 24x7 emergency support on most roads in India, with premium perks like hotel accommodation during extended repairs, vehicle custody, and even WhatsApp-based service initiation.
Audi’s move comes at a time when customer experience and service longevity are becoming critical differentiators in the premium automotive space.
Mercedes-Benz India, long known for its service packages, currently offers extended warranty plans up to 6 years and a Star Ease Maintenance Programme that covers service costs over specific periods. However, it doesn’t match Audi’s 10-year benchmark in warranty duration or RSA coverage longevity.
BMW India offers up to 6 years of warranty extension under its BMW Repair Inclusive, and a BMW Service Inclusive plan for scheduled maintenance, but again, no options beyond that in terms of decade-long coverage.
Jaguar Land Rover India provides up to 5 years/150,000 km extended warranty under its standard programme, with basic roadside assistance packages that fall short of the new Audi Top Assist standards.
Volvo Car India, meanwhile, is seen as competitive in this space with its Volvo Service Package, offering up to 5 years of maintenance and RSA. But once again, Audi’s latest rollout trumps Volvo’s offering in both duration and flexibility.
With these initiatives, Audi India has arguably carved out the most extensive post-purchase support system in the luxury segment, aiming to win back market share from rivals by positioning itself as the most customer-centric brand in the country.
