The newly formed partnership will expedite sales and distributions of Zero21’s electric CVs and associated spare parts.
Auto EVmart is forging a partnership with electric-3W manufacturer Zero21 to expedite the sales and distribution of the latter’s electric autorickshaw and associated EV spare parts. Auto EVmart is the multi-brand EV retail store by Greaves Retail, which in turn is the retail and distribution unit of Greaves Cotton Ltd.
This newly formed partnership will see Auto EVmart outlets in TIER 1, 2, and 3 markets retail Zero21’s popular offerings like Chalo and Teer electric three-wheelers. Auto EVmart has over 100 retail showrooms and their strategic location is expected to further strengthen the network of auto drivers and last-mile delivery services.
“Recognising that consumers value having a variety of brands to choose from, we find that this approach streamlines decision-making and leads to successful conversions,” said Narasimha Jayakumar, CEO of Greaves Retail about the decision to retail Zero21 products in its showrooms.
“The partnership is designed to provide comprehensive solutions, including services and spare parts, catering to customer needs by leveraging Greaves' extensive service and distribution network,” added Rani Srinivas, CEO, Zero21.
Both the Teer and Chalo are commercial three-wheeler vehicles. While the Zero Chalo is available both as a cargo and passenger capacities, the Teer is a passenger vehicle exclusively. Both are commercial EVs, but the Chalo can do 25 kmph of top speed, the Teer can do 50 kmph of top speed.
