The Auto Expo 2025 was a grand celebration of futuristic concepts, ground-breaking technology, and a remarkable audience experience. Among the many automakers showcasing their prowess, JSW MG Motor India won the coveted "Best Car Brand Pavilion" award. This recognition came amidst fierce competition from industry giants like BYD, Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Group, Tata Motors, Toyota, and new entrant VinFast. MG’s pavilion wasn’t just a display but an experience, setting a new benchmark for automotive showcases.
MG’s pavilion, aptly themed "Drive.Future", stood out by offering a captivating glimpse into the future of mobility. It wasn’t just about showcasing vehicles; the pavilion provided an immersive experience with cutting-edge innovations, advanced mobility solutions, and an elevated customer journey. The showstopper was undoubtedly MG's futuristic EV lineup, including the MG Cyberster electric sports car and the MG M9 electric 3-row MPV, both slated for launch this year under the premium MG Select channel.
What truly swung the jury's decision was the sheer scale of MG’s pavilion, coupled with the variety and readiness of its production cars, especially its EV offerings. In line with the Expo's overarching theme, "Beyond Boundaries: Co-creating Future Automotive Value Chain," MG’s pavilion emphasised a comprehensive EV ecosystem with zones dedicated to battery technology, second-life use cases, and infrastructure solutions.
The Acko Drive Best of Show at Auto Expo 2025, an annual tradition established by Editor-in-Chief Siddharth Vinayak Patankar, celebrates the creative excellence behind pavilions at the Auto Expo. For 2025, the jury—comprising eminent names like Yogendra Pratap, Renuka Kirpalani, and Hani Musthafa—commended MG’s effort to merge innovation with visitor engagement.
