Toyota Kirloskar Motor has reported its sales figures for April 2025, with a total of 27,324 units sold, marking a 33 per cent increase compared to the 20,494 units sold in the same period last year. Out of the total sales, domestic sales accounted for 24,833 units, while exports contributed 2,491 units.
Varinder Wadhwa, Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, said, “The sustained growth is a testament to our unwavering commitment to offering the Indian market the right products and technologies at the right time. Our multi-pathway approach, which provides diverse technology options, has enabled us to respond positively to shifting customer needs and has ensured strong demand across our line-up.”

The growth was achieved despite a planned maintenance shutdown from April 21-25, 2025, which temporarily halted production to ensure the upkeep of machinery and equipment, maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards. Toyota’s sales performance in April follows a record-breaking close to the fiscal year 2024-2025, with the company achieving its highest-ever sales in India.
