Two-wheelers sales grew by 27 percent, going from 2,27,666 units in December 2022 to 2,90,064 units in December 2023.
TVS Motor Company recorded strong sales in December 2023, with a total of 3,01,898 units, marking a significant 25 percent increase from December 2022 when they sold 2,42,012 units.
The growth trend extended to two-wheeler sales, which saw a substantial 27 percent increase. In December 2023, the company sold 2,90,064 units, surpassing the previous year's figure of 2,27,666 units.

The domestic market particularly contributed to this growth, with a 33 percent increase in two-wheeler sales. The numbers rose from 1,61,369 units in December 2022 to 2,14,988 units in December 2023. Last month, the domestic sales were 2,87,017 units, which was higher than this month by 72,029 units.
Motorcycle sales grew by 19 percent, from 124,705 units in December 2022 to 1,48,049 units in December 2023. Scooter sales saw a significant 34 percent growth, increasing from 76,766 units in December 2022 to 1,03,167 units in December 2023. Additionally, TVS sold 11,232 units in this month, up from 11,071 units in last year.

In the third quarter of the current financial year, TVS Motor Company witnessed a substantial growth in two-wheeler sales, recording a 27 percent increase. The sales reached 10.6 lakh units compared to 8.4 lakh units in the third quarter of FY 22-23. These Two-wheeler sales included EV sales of 48,000 units in the third quarter of FY 23-24 as against 29,000 units in the third quarter of FY 22-23 with a growth of 65%.
