Auto Sales February 2026: Hero MotoCorp Sees Strong Sales Momentum with 44% YoY Growth

Hero MotoCorp reported total dispatches of 5,58,216 units in February 2026, registering a 44% year-on-year growth compared to 3,88,068 units in the same month last year.

Retail momentum remained healthy as well, with the company recording 4,58,346 VAHAN registrations during the month, marking an 18% year-on-year increase.

The strong performance was led by sustained demand in the scooter segment, supported by positive customer response to newer models such as Xoom and Destini. At the same time, the 100cc to 125cc motorcycle category continued to anchor volume growth, contributing significantly to the overall dispatch expansion.

Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility arm, Vida, also showed notable progress during the month. The business recorded 12,514 VAHAN registrations in February 2026 and expanded its market share threefold compared to the same period last year. This reflects growing adoption of electric two-wheelers across key markets.

On the international front, the company maintained strong growth momentum. Global business dispatches rose by 34% year-on-year to 41,248 units in February 2026, driven by favourable response to its premium product offerings across overseas markets.

Motorcycle dispatches stood at 4,99,756 units during the month, while scooter volumes reached 58,460 units. Domestic dispatches accounted for 5,16,968 units, with exports contributing 41,248 units.
