Mahindra reported total sales of 97,177 vehicles in February 2026, growing 18% year-on-year. SUV demand remained the key driver, with domestic sales rising 19%.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. recorded total vehicle sales of 97,177 units in February 2026, registering an 18% year-on-year increase, including exports. Growth was led by the company’s Utility Vehicles segment, with domestic SUV sales rising to 60,018 units, reflecting a 19% improvement compared to February last year.

Including overseas shipments, total SUV volumes reached 60,685 units during the month. According to Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO of the Automotive Division, strong demand across the SUV portfolio supported the company’s overall performance, contributing to total monthly sales nearing the 100,000-unit mark.

On a year-to-date basis up to February 2026, Mahindra’s domestic utility vehicle sales stood at 600,004 units, marking a 19% increase over the 503,439 units recorded during the same period last year. Passenger vehicle volumes for the month were entirely driven by Utility Vehicles, as the company reported no sales in the Cars and Vans category.

In the domestic commercial vehicle space, Mahindra posted sales of 24,585 units, representing a 10% year-on-year rise. Within this segment, the sub-2 tonne LCV category registered 3,169 units, reflecting a 4% decline, while the 2 to 3.5 tonne LCV category grew by 12% year-on-year to 21,416 units.

The three-wheeler division, including electric variants, delivered strong growth with 9,190 units sold, marking a 44% increase. Year-to-date three-wheeler volumes climbed to 101,202 units, up 30% from the previous year.

Exports for February stood at 3,384 units, up 11% year-on-year, while cumulative exports for the year so far rose 21% to 37,022 units. The company noted that its total monthly sales figure includes SUVs, light commercial vehicles under 3.5 tonnes, three-wheelers, and export volumes.
