Auto Sales January 2026: Royal Enfield Crosses 1 Million Sales In Just 10 Months

Royal Enfield has achieved a major milestone in FY2026 by crossing 1 million motorcycle sales in just 10 months. The company sold 1,04,322 motorcycles in January 2026, registering a 14 per cent year-on-year growth compared to 91,132 units sold in January 2025. The strong performance continues Royal Enfield’s growth momentum, marking four consecutive months of double-digit growth. Out of the total January sales, 93,781 motorcycles were sold in the domestic market, reflecting a 16 per cent growth over last year. 

Exports stood at 10,541 units, growing by a modest 5 per cent year-on-year. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, Royal Enfield has sold 10,25,420 motorcycles, a significant 25 per cent increase compared to the same period last year.

Notably, the company has also crossed 1 lakh motorcycle exports this financial year.

Speaking about the performance for January 2026, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director - Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer - Royal Enfield, said, “The new year has begun on a positive note for Royal Enfield- extending the strong momentum from the previous quarter and marking four consecutive months of healthy double-digit growth. We have crossed 1 million motorcycle sales in this financial year across the globe and also crossed 100,000 motorcycle sales in exports. This consistent performance reflects expanding demand across our portfolio and the deeper engagement we continue to have with our community.”

Moving forward for 2026, the next launch from the brand will be the Bullet 650, which was showcased at the 2025 Motoverse. 

Also, the Classic 350 still hasn’t received the slipper clutch update and we expect that to happen in the coming few months. By the end of the year, Royal Enfield will be showcasing the Himalayan 750 and also the Continental GT 750 at the 2026 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy.
