Suzuki will look towards the festive season to further capitalise on its growth momentum.
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) sold 1,13,600 motorcycles and scooters in July 2025. The Indian subsidiary of Japan's Suzuki Motor Corporation delivered 96,029 units to the domestic market and exported 17,571 units overseas.
Total sales dropped slightly from the 1,16,714 units achieved in July 2024. However, the company remains upbeat thanks to strong customer demand in India.
Retail sales show healthy growth
Retail sales in India reached 93,141 units, representing a solid 14% increase compared to the 81,730 units sold to customers in July last year. This growth demonstrates continued customer confidence in Suzuki's products.
Deepak Mutreja, Vice President of Sales and marketing at Suzuki Motorcycle India, welcomed the retail performance. He noted the strong customer support reflected in the 93,141 domestic retail units—a 14% improvement on the same period last year.
Looking ahead to the festive season, Mutreja said the company remains committed to providing excellent customer service and maintaining sales momentum in the coming months.
