One of the major highlights of the month was the way the market responded to the special edition Prestige Packages in the Toyota Glanza and the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. These products have been contributing to incremental demand, particularly in the premium hatchback and compact SUV space.
Adding to its safety halo effect as well, Toyota stated that the Innova Hycross obtained a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating for adult and child occupant protection, a first, which adds weight to its jump in the premium MPV segment.
The company has also introduced six airbags as a standard fit across all models of the Toyota Glanza after the industry trend towards enhanced occupant protection in mass-market vehicles.
