Sales growth looks positive year over year, but it has been flat compared to last month.
Royal Enfield’s streak of sales growth continues as the brand registered sales of 89,450 units in June, 2025. The iconic Indian brand registered an impressive 22 per cent sales growth as it had retailed 73,141 units in the corresponding month last year. In comparison to May 2025 sales, the growth is stagnant as Royal Enfield had sold 89,249 units last month. Out of the total sales, the company exported 12,583 units, which is a massive 79 per cent increase compared to 7,024 units in June, 2024.

While the above numbers are good compared to last year, the slow progress in comparison to last month will be worrying for the company. This comes despite the fact that it has introduced a new updated version of the Hunter 350, which is among the top-3 selling motorcycles for the brand. Royal Enfield was banking heavily on the new Hunter 350 to give the brand a sales boost, but the same doesn’t seem to have happened. However, sales during the monsoon season are a bit low, and the brand will be expecting numbers to improve in the coming few months.
On the product end, the new Royal Enfield Classic 650 seems to be off to a slow start as we haven’t spotted many units on the road yet, but a clear picture will only emerge when the SIAM sales data is revealed. As for its upcoming products, Royal Enfield could launch the Bullet 650 soon, followed by the unveiling of the new Interceptor 750 and Continental GT 750 at the 2025 EICMA motorcycle show. We also expect the other popular J-platform machines like the Classic 350 and Bullet 350 to be updated with the new slipper clutch, which we recently saw on the new Hunter 350.
