Škoda Auto India has reported its highest-ever half-yearly sales since it began operations in the country, retailing 36,194 units between January and June 2025. This marks a 134% growth over the same period in 2024 and surpasses its previous best of 28,899 units achieved in H1 2022. The performance also places the brand among the top seven automotive manufacturers in India, rising four positions from its previous ranking last year.

A key contributor to Škoda’s volume growth has been the Kylaq, its first sub-4-metre SUV, launched in December, 2024. Positioned as a new entry point into the Škoda range, the Kylaq is designed to appeal to buyers in Tier 1 and emerging Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. It joins the Kushaq in the brand’s compact SUV lineup, while the second-generation Kodiaq continues to cater to the premium SUV segment.

The company's sedan portfolio continues to be led by the Slavia, with plans to introduce another globally recognised sedan in India. Across the portfolio, Škoda offers turbocharged engines paired with advanced automatic transmissions, focusing on a balance of performance, comfort, and fuel efficiency.

Alongside product launches, Škoda Auto India has invested significantly in its retail and service network. The company has grown from 120 customer touchpoints in 2021 to over 295 as of mid-2025, with a target of reaching 350 outlets by year-end. This expansion is aligned with the brand's strategy to improve accessibility and service delivery across regions.
