Auto Sales March 2025: Skoda Registers 164% Growth With 7,422 Units Sold

Skoda Auto India sold 7,422 units in March 2025, registering a 164 per cent growth compared to March 2024. March 2025 becomes the best-selling month for Skoda in India, a milestone for its 25th year in the country. 

This milestone sales for Skoda was helped with the launch of the Kylaq subcompact SUV, the brand’s most affordable model in the country currently. While the Kylaq’s prices were announced in December, deliveries began only in late January.  There has been a lot of demand for this subcompact SUV as Skoda still has bookings for more than 15,000 cars which are yet to be delivered. To that extent, Skoda India is ramping up production of the Kylaq to meet the demand.

The 7,422 cars we sold in March 2025 is a testament to this journey taking shape, and is also the result of sustained planning, efforts and a strategy aimed at democratising European technology on Indian roads.”
