TVS two-wheeler sales shot up by 10 percent YoY in October 2025, recording 525,150 units.
TVS Motor Company has achieved a record-breaking month, reflecting strong performance across all segments — particularly in motorcycles, exports, and three-wheelers. The Hosur-based manufacturer dispatched a total of 543,557 units in October 2025 including domestic sales as well as exports.
This resulted in an overall 11 percent YoY increase, compared to 489,015 units dispatched in October 2024. These numbers include two-wheelers, three-wheelers and other light commercial vehicles produced during this period.
TVS is one of the largest players in the Indian two-wheeler market. The company recorded a monthly volume of 525,150 units in October this year which translates to 10 percent YoY growth. During the same month last year, TVS registered a volume of 478,159 units. Out of 525,150 units, 421,631 units were shipped across the domestic market, thus, resulting in an 8 percent YoY growth.

Out of the total two-wheeler produced in October this year, 266,715 units were motorcycles whereas 205,919 units were scooters, with YoY growths of 16 percent and 7 percent, respectively. The company has had multiple new launches in recent months, the most recent being the TVS Apache RTX 300 — the brand’s first ever adventure tourer.
TVS claims to have dispatched a total of 32,387 units of electric vehicles (EVs) in October 2025 as compared to 29,308 units in October last year, thus, leading to a 11 percent YoY growth. The company noted that retail demand remained robust, though rare-earth magnet availability continues to pose short- to medium-term challenges. The steady growth in EVs underscores the brand’s continued focus on sustainable mobility, despite minor supply chain constraints.

With the iQube range being one of the best-selling electric scooters in the country, TVS added its second mass-market electric scooter in the form of Orbiter in September this year. The two-wheeler giant is all set to launch yet another electric scooter named M1-S in the next couple of months. This battery-powered scooter is expected to break covers at the upcoming EICMA 2025.
In October 2025, TVS Motor recorded robust growth in its international business and three-wheeler segment, underscoring its expanding global footprint and diversified product portfolio. Overseas sales rose by 21 percent, reaching 115,806 units compared to 95,708 units in October 2024. Two-wheeler exports alone contributed 103,519 units, marking an 18 percent YoY increase.

Complementing this momentum, the company’s three-wheeler business delivered strong performance, registering a 70 percent YoY growth with sales climbing to 18,407 units from 10,856 units in the same period last year.
