Toyota Kirloskar Motor has continued its impressive sales performance, achieving a record-breaking month in September 2023 by selling a total of 23,590 units. This represents a growth rate of 53 per cent compared to the same month in the previous year, when the company sold 15,378 units. These sales figures include 22,168 domestic units and 1,422 units exported. It's worth noting that in the preceding month of August 2023, the company also achieved its highest-ever monthly wholesale figures, with 22,910 units sold.
Atul Sood, Vice President of Sales, and Strategic Marketing at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said, “Toyota Kirloskar Motor’s sales numbers of 23,590 achieved in the month of September 2023 underline the growing acceptance of the company’s diverse portfolio of products and robust service offerings that is allowing customers a choice that fits their lifestyle and mobility needs.”
Toyota Kirloskar Motor's exceptional performance extends to the first half of the current fiscal year, with a robust growth rate of 35 per cent. During this period, the company sold 1,23,939 units, compared to 91,843 units sold in the same period the previous year. This impressive growth is attributed to the success of several recent models, including the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Hycross, Hilux, and the new Rumion, which has been a valuable addition to the B-MPV segment.
To enhance accessibility to their product lineup, Toyota Kirloskar Motor has expanded its reach from 577 to 612 touchpoints across the country in the first half of the fiscal year.
