The GST revision has helped bump up the sales of the Akurdi-based two-wheeler marque.
Bajaj Auto Limited recorded total sales of 5,10,504 vehicles in September 2025, marking a 9% increase compared to 4,69,531 units sold in September 2024. The company's two-wheeler segment grew 8%, with total sales reaching 4,30,853 units. Domestic two-wheeler sales rose 5% to 2,73,188 units, whilst exports surged 12% to 1,57,665 units.
Commercial vehicle sales showed strong momentum, climbing 15% to 79,651 units. Exports in this segment were particularly robust, jumping 67% to 27,587 units, though domestic sales dipped marginally by 1% to 52,064 units.
For the April-September period, Bajaj Auto's total sales stood at 24,05,357 vehicles, up 4% year-on-year. However, domestic two-wheeler sales declined 8% during this period, whilst exports across both segments remained strong, growing 20% overall.
The GST revisions coupled with the positive sales sentiment that comes with the festive season has helped the Akurdi-based manufacturer to rake in this growth. With domestic sales growing, Bajaj enters the festive month of October with spirits high.
