Bajaj Auto Reports 28% Wholesale Growth in August 2026

Bajaj Auto posted a strong performance in its August 2026 wholesales, driven by volume growth across both domestic and export markets. Total wholesale figures for the month reached 5,35,764 units, representing a 28% increase compared to the 4,17,616 units recorded in August 2025.

Domestic sales across all vehicle segments grew 10% year-on-year to 2,55,708 units compared to 2,32,398 units in the corresponding month of the previous year. Export markets saw significant expansion, surging 51% year-on-year to 2,80,056 units compared to 1,85,218 units shipped in August 2025.

Total two-wheeler volume for August 2026 increased 30% year-on-year to 4,43,748 units, up from 3,41,887 units in the prior-year period. Within this category, domestic two-wheeler sales registered a 10% growth to 2,01,898 units. Two-wheeler exports recorded a 53% jump, rising to 2,41,850 units.

In the commercial vehicle category, total sales rose 22% year-on-year to 92,016 units compared to 75,729 units in August 2025. Domestic commercial vehicle deliveries grew 11% to 53,810 units, while commercial vehicle exports expanded by 39% year-on-year to reach 38,206 units.
