Besides the new colour options, Bajaj has also introduced subtle design changes to the new Chetak.
Bajaj Auto recently launched the most affordable model in the Chetak lineup. Priced at ₹91,399 (ex-showroom), the new Chetak C25 01 is very different from the rest of the variants in the Chetak range. Of the major updates is a brand new colour palette. The new Chetak C25 01 is available in six colour options — Ocean Teal, Racing Red, Active Black, Opalescent Silver, Classic White, and Misty Yellow.
These colour options are very different from the older Chetak variants thanks to the modern graphic liveries that give out a funky and youthful overall vibe. This graphics goes well with the targeted buyers for the Chetak C25 01 which is largely the urban youth. The new palette provides a good mix of both subtle and bold shades.

Colours such as Misty Yellow, Racing Red, and Classic White are intended for buyers seeking more attention and want to stand out in the crowd. Those preferring a restrained or understated look can opt for Ocean Teal, Opalescent Silver, or Active Black. That said, the graphics on the lighter shades— Ocean Teal and Opalescent Silver — appear relatively subdued compared to the other colours. Among the six options, Racing Red stands out for striking a balanced contrast between the graphics and the paint finish.
To keep pricing competitive, the new Chetak C25 01 is equipped with a reverse LCD instrument cluster in place of the TFT display offered on higher-spec variants. This more affordable version also features a conventional key slot, a twin-sided swingarm, and an open glove box. Additional features include an LED headlamp and turn indicators, 25 litres of underseat storage, reverse assist, Bluetooth connectivity with music playback, and a USB charging port.

Powering the Bajaj Chetak C25 01 is a 2.5 kWh NMC battery, which delivers a claimed IDC range of 113 km. When connected to a 750W off-board charger, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 2 hours and 25 minutes. The battery feeds a 2.2 kW hub-mounted motor, enabling a top speed of 55 kmph. Riders can choose between two riding modes: Eco and Sport.
In terms of hardware, the new Chetak C25 01 continues with the same chassis architecture as other Chetak models, featuring a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking is handled by a front disc and a rear drum brake.
