At the India Bio-Energy & Tech (IBET) Expo 2024, Bajaj Auto showcased its flex-fuel-powered motorcycle, the Bajaj Pulsar N160. It was displayed alongside the Freedom 125, the world’s first CNG motorcycle, which debuted a month ago. Both these models were showcased at the Expo as part of the brand’s commitment to creating environmentally conscious mobility solutions.
The Expo, which will take place from September 2nd to 4th at Yashbhoomi, IICC, Dwarka, New Delhi, is organized in collaboration with the Indian Federation of Green Energy and MM Active Sci-Tec Communications. The premier event focuses on bioenergy and technologies and Bajaj Auto’s clean fuel-powered vehicle portfolio was showcased as part of this agenda.

The Freedom 125 is already in production, but the Bajaj Pulsar N160 Flex-Fuel has yet to undergo the same process. While your average two-wheeler runs on E20 petrol (which signifies 20 per cent Ethanol), the Pulsar N160 Flex-Fuel can run on 100 per cent ethanol fuel. And while the Freedom 125 is built entirely new from the ground up, the Pulsar N160 has the same design as its ICE counterpart, albeit with different graphics and aesthetics.
By embracing alternative fuels, like these two here, Bajaj Auto is gradually proving its worthiness in being at the forefront of a clear future in mobility, thus contributing to India’s goals under the Paris Agreement.
