The Black Edition gets a completely blacked-out exterior and interior but no mechanical changes.
Range Rover has revealed the Sport SV Black Edition, which, as the name suggests, is a blacked-out version of the Range Rover Sport SV. The Black Edition is devoid of any shiny elements, meaning it gets a deep black exterior and interior colour with blacked-out accents. It will come to India, but the timeline has not been finalised.
The Sport SV Black Edition comes with a Narvik Black exterior colour as well as Narvik Black accents like the grille, brake callipers, exhaust tips and even the badging. The Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition gets a black painted carbon fibre bonnet as well as blacked-out 23-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the Black Edition gets a blacked-out treatment too, with black upholstery and accents. The door sills get dark chrome treadplates with illuminated SV Black badging.
Since the Black Edition is a cosmetic pack, the mechanical components of the Range Rover Sport SV remain unchanged. Underneath the all-black facade is the same 626 bhp, 750 Nm, 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with mild hybrid assist. Range Rover claims the Sport SV can do the 0-100 kmph run in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 290 kmph.
The Range Rover Sport SV Black Edition will also be showcased at the Goodwood Festival of Speed between July 10 and 13, 2025. Like all Range Rover models, the Sport SV Black Edition will also be coming to India but we just don’t know when. The standard Sport SV is priced at ₹2.95 crore, so expect the Black Edition to be priced upwards of ₹3 crore (ex-showroom, India).
