Bajaj Auto has widened its electric three-wheeler lineup with the launch of the updated Wego range that covers both passenger and cargo use cases. The company says the range has been developed to serve a broad mix of customers, from urban operators running short, high-frequency trips to users in semi-urban and rural markets who need more range and carrying capacity.
Prices for the Bajaj Wego range start at ₹3.12 lakh and go up to ₹4.48 lakh (ex-showroom) depending on the variant. The Wego family includes the P50, P70, P90 and C90 series, with separate offerings for passenger mobility and cargo movement. In the passenger segment, the P50 series is positioned for intra-city and contract carriage operations, while the P70 is aimed at shared commuting in urban and semi-urban markets.
The P90, meanwhile, is designed as an extra-large people carrier for longer-distance shared mobility and rural applications. On the cargo side, the C90 variants are built for last-mile goods transport.

A key highlight of the new range is its claimed range, which goes up to 296 km on the P9018 variant. Bajaj Auto says the platform uses an electric drivetrain with a 2-speed automatic transmission, an advanced battery management system and regenerative braking technology. According to the company, these elements are intended to reduce range anxiety while improving ownership value for operators over the long term.

The passenger line-up includes the P5009 and P5012, offering ARAI-certified ranges of 213 km and 272 km, respectively. The P7009 and P7012 deliver 182 km and 259 km, while the top-end P9018 claims 296 km. In the cargo range, the C9009 and C9012 offer 149 km and 207 km of ARAI range.
Beyond range, Bajaj Auto has equipped the WEGO range with several features meant to improve usability. These include Bluetooth connectivity, a digital LCD cluster, hill hold, climb mode and better gradability. The new models also offer increased passenger space, improved legroom and an ergonomic design that makes entry and exit easier for drivers. Bajaj says the range will be backed by a 5-year warranty, roadside assistance and its network of more than 1,500 sales and service touchpoints.
Speaking about the launch, Samardeep Subandh, President - Intra-City Business, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said “With Bajaj Wego, we are launching the most comprehensive range of electric three-wheelers under a single brand. Each product is purpose-built to meet the distinct needs of diverse customer segments.”
