BMW CE 04 Electric Scooter India Launch Tomorrow, Here’s What To Expect

BMW Motorrad is all set to launch its first electric two-wheeler in the Indian market, the CE 04 tomorrow. The BMW CE 04 is the flagship electric scooter offering from the German brand and is likely to be the most expensive electric scooter to go on sale in our country. The BMW CE 04 will be brought via the CBU route and this means, the sticker price could be well above ₹ 20 lakh (ex-showroom). Booking for the BMW CE 04 has already commenced across all BMW Motorrad dealerships in India. 

The BMW CE 04 has a very unique design language which is very futuristic and sporty. The styling has few design elements of a  maxi-scooter but the flat bench-like seats makes the electric scooter look unique. Its loud styling will be the most important aspect for the BMW scooter to attract buyers. On the specs front, the CE 04 produces 31 kW and 61 Nm. In terms of performance, the BMW electric scooter accelerates from 0-50 kmph in 2.6 seconds and a limited top speed of 120 kmph. Charging time stands at 4 hrs and 20 mins with a 2.3 kW standard charger, whereas it can be fully charged in an hour less with the optional 6.9 kW charger.
