The BMW iX xDrive50 joins the iX xDrive40 in the product line-up.
BMW India has introduced the latest addition to its electric vehicle lineup with the launch of the BMW iX xDrive50 in India at Rs. 1.39 crore (ex-showroom, India). This all-electric SUV marks a significant step in BMW's commitment to advancing electric mobility in the luxury segment. Available as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU) model from today onwards, the BMW iX xDrive50 joins the iX xDrive40 (Rs. 1.21 crore) in the company’s line-up.
Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India said, “The BMW iX is the highest-selling electric luxury vehicle in India and significantly drives BMW Group India’s number one position in the luxury electric segment.”

The BMW iX xDrive50 boasts an imposing exterior design characterised by precise lines, a large BMW kidney grille, and slim headlights, reflecting a powerful and dynamic presence on the road. The interior of the vehicle offers generous space and lounge-like comfort, featuring innovative elements such as the widescreen BMW Curved Glass Display, hexagonal steering wheel, and Ambient Lighting for customizable mood settings.
In terms of performance, the BMW iX xDrive50 incorporates fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology, featuring two electric motors, a single-speed transmission, and intelligent all-wheel drive for optimal power distribution. With a combined battery capacity of 111.5 kWh, the BMW iX xDrive50 achieves a best-in-class range of up to 635 km in the WLTP test cycle, providing drivers with the freedom to embark on long inter-city journeys.

Charging the BMW iX xDrive50 is fast and convenient, with various options available including DC and AC chargers, along with a complimentary smart BMW Wallbox charger for home installation. The vehicle also offers a range of advanced features and technologies such as BMW ConnectedDrive, BMW Live Cockpit Professional, and Adaptive 2-Axle Air Suspension for enhanced driving dynamics and comfort.
