Planning to buy a BMW motorcycle? You better hurry and save some money.
BMW Motorrad India announced today that prices of its motorcycles and scooters will increase by up to 2.5%. The price hike will be implemented from January 1,2025 onwards. According to the German brand, the price hike is courtesy the rise in input costs, inflation and the fact that shipping costs too have increased. BMW Motorrad isn’t the only premium two-wheeler brand to announce a price increase, a few days back Ducati too announced the same for its portfolio.

The BMW Motorrad India portfolio comprises of a vast range of two-wheelers, starting from the BMW G 310 series which are manufactured in India itself and goes up to exclusive stuff such as the BMW M 1000 RR. 2024 has been a very active year for the German brand as it introduced its first EV offerings in the form of the BMW CE 04 and the CE 02, also earlier this year the hugely popular BMW G 1300 GS also made its way to our shores.

The way forward for BMW looks very exciting too as it recently showcased the F 450 GS Concept at the 2024 EICMA motorcycle show. The F 450 GS is powered by a 450 cc, twin-cylinder engine and promises to be a great step up for the existing BMW G 310 GS owners and also an interesting mid-capacity ADV motorcycle. Here’s why we think the BMW F 450 GS should be built in India.
