In the upcoming months, Bolt.Earth will expand its charging options for LECCS-Type 7-compatible two-wheelers and three-wheelers with the launch of 6kW and 12kW Blaze DC.

Bolt.Earth has announced a strategic partnership with Ather Energy that will allow Ather riders to discover LECCS-enabled Blaze DC fast chargers directly through the Ather App and scooter dashboard. Riders can also book and charge through the Bolt.Earth EV Charging App, making the process more seamless and predictable for everyday use.

The move is aimed at simplifying fast charging for LECCS-enabled electric two-wheelers across India. Under the partnership, more than 195 Blaze DC 3 kW fast chargers with Type 7 connectors are immediately available across 100+ cities. Key locations include Bengaluru, Mysuru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Vishakhapatnam, Kochi and Kozhikode. Bolt.Earth says the chargers can add up to 40 km of range in 15 minutes, which could help reduce downtime and support daily commuting needs.

Wider charging access for riders

The collaboration is intended to strengthen access to charging infrastructure beyond a single OEM network. For Ather users, it adds more charging locations while keeping the experience integrated and easy to access through familiar digital interfaces. The companies said the partnership is designed to address range anxiety by improving charger discovery and network availability in real time.

Bolt.Earth also said it plans to expand its charging options in the coming months with 6 kW and 12 kW Blaze DC chargers for LECCS-Type 7-compatible two-wheelers and three-wheelers. That expansion would broaden support for both urban users and riders travelling on high-density routes, where quick turnaround times matter.

Commenting on the partnership, S. Raghav Bharadwaj, CEO and Co-Founder of Bolt.Earth, said, "Easy access to fast charging is the cornerstone of a truly scalable EV ecosystem in India. It should feel as natural as refueling: quick, simple and always within reach. Our partnership with Ather Energy is transforming that to a reality, bringing reliable fast charging to riders across 100+ cities.”

The partnership reflects a broader shared goal: accelerating EV adoption by reducing charging barriers and improving rider confidence. As electric two-wheeler use grows, partnerships between vehicle makers and charging networks are likely to play a more important role in shaping the ownership experience.
