This makes it ₹15,000 dearer than the more accessible 200 mm suspension travel version
Our prayers have been answered! KTM India has brought in the fully-loaded long 230 mm suspension travel version of the 390 Enduro R to India. And the asking price? ₹3.53 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The more accessible bike with the relatively lesser 200 mm suspension travel was launched at ₹3.36 lakh, and then prices went up to ₹3.38 lakh.
Both versions will be available on offer in India as the two will serve as great tools for different sets of off-roaders. The newer bike will be great for the more experienced riders while the initially launched version will offer a solid platform for the newbies and amateurs.
The major difference between the two versions will be with the suspension on offer. With the newer model, the suspension travel will be 230 mm at both ends, which will raise the ground clearance up to a staggering 272 mm and the seat height to a fearful 890 mm. So, this is pretty serious.
But at its core, both versions will remain fun and engaging to ride both on and off-road. The 399 cc mill is a hoot and the 390 Enduro R is unlike any other bike currently on sale in this segment. Check out our review of the more accessible bike to get an idea of what’s in store:
