The announcement comes soon after IBW confirmed that it has shifted the location from Vagator to Panchgani.
One of the highlights of the 2025 India Bike Week (IBW) was the India launch of the Brixton Crossfire Storr ADV bike. However, the launch has been delayed as the company released a statement for the same. While we don’t have an exact timeline, we expect the bike to go on sale in the first half of 2026. The launch delay could be because IBW has been shifted from Goa to Panchgani in Maharashtra owing to local elections. This is the second occasion that IBW will be held outside Goa as during the Covid pandemic it was held at Amby Valley in Lonavala in 2021.
The Crossfire 500 Storr is a mid-range, premium adventure tourer bike and will compete against the Honda NX500. Brixton currently has the Crossfire X and the XC on sale in the Indian market and both the bikes are in contention for the 2026 Acko Drive Awards scheduled from December 19-20 in Chennai. The styling of the bike takes inspiration from the Husqvarna Norden 901 with its tall-tower design, which makes it look premium and distinct. It is powered by the same 486 cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin mill as on the Brixton Crossfire 500 and 500 XC. The twin-cylinder engine delivers 47.6 bhp and 43 Nm which is transferred to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox.
The bike features a tubular steel frame suspended by a long travel USD fork and monoshock. The Brixton ADV rides on 19-/17-inch cross-spoke wheels, shod with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres in the European market. So it’s more of a tourer than a hardcore adventure bike. The Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr is expected to be priced around ₹5.50-6.25 lakh. For reference, the Honda NX500 is priced at ₹5.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
