BSA Motorcycles has expanded its Gold Star 650 range in India with two new editions: Birmingham Blue and Brooklands Black Legacy. The Birmingham Blue edition features deep blue paint, a patinated silver side-panel badge and a bespoke engine finish.

The Brooklands Black Legacy edition draws inspiration from the historic British circuit where BSA rider Wal Handley earned the Gold Star distinction in 1937. It gets black paint, gold pinstriping, chrome-finished fenders and a quilted seat. The BSA Gold Star Birmingham Blue is priced at ₹3,55,950, while the Brooklands Black Legacy Edition costs ₹3,64,950. Both editions use the Gold Star’s 652 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which produces 45 bhp and 55 Nm of torque. Other equipment includes Brembo brakes, dual-channel ABS and wire-spoke wheels. Apart from the new colour shade, no other changes have been made on the BSA motorcycle. The BSA Goldstar is the largest capacity single-cylinder bike to be manufactured in the country. It competes with the Royal Enfield Classic 650 and the Bullet 650.
