BYD Sealion 7 Anniversary Edition Revealed; Bookings Open

BYD India has started bookings for the BYD Sealion 7 First Anniversary Edition today. The company marks one year since the launch of its electric SUV at Bharat Expo 2025. The Sealion 7 was also the winner of the Luxury Midsize SUV Category at the 2026 TOTMs. 

Customers need to pay ₹70,000 to book the vehicles at dealerships across the country. This edition includes a Tahiti Blue interior theme. The first 1100 customers receive a complimentary 11 kW home charger with installation. They also get two years of free service maintenance. 

The low voltage battery uses LFP technology with an eight-yea/150,000 km warranty. The high voltage battery carries an eight-year/160,000 km warranty.

Prices stay the same as standard variants on sale. The Premium variant with 82.56 kWh battery lists at ₹49.40 lakh ex-showroom. The Performance variant lists at ₹54.90 lakh ex-showroom. No price change applies to the Anniversary Edition. Bookings until 30 April 2026 qualify for these offers on the first 1100 units.

The Sealion 7 has recorded over 2500 units in sales in India. The vehicle uses an 82.56 kWh Blade Battery with Cell-to-Body technology. The Premium variant provides 567 km range on NEDC and reaches 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds. The Performance variant provides 542 km range and reaches 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. Features cover a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, Nappa leather seats, and 12 Dynaudio speakers.
