BYD India has launched the Sealion 7 Festive Edition at ₹50.60 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing a limited-run version of its premium electric SUV with an exclusive Tan and Black interior. The special edition is based on the Sealion 7 Premium and only 150 units will be available in India. The new edition gets a different cabin colour scheme, but it retains the powertrain, features and technology offered on the standard Premium variant.
The launch comes during the automaker's "Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD" festive campaign.
BYD Sealion 7 Festive Edition: Battery, Power, Range
The Sealion 7 Festive Edition draws power from an 82.56kWh Blade Battery featuring BYD's Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology. The electric SUV also comes with Intelligence Torque Adaption Control (iTAC), which is designed to optimise torque distribution.
The Premium variant develops 230kW of power and 380Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 6.7 seconds. BYD claims a range of 567km on a single charge, as measured under the NEDC test cycle.
BYD Sealion 7 Features, Safety
The Sealion 7 comes with 11 airbags and carries a 5-Star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
Other features include a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, quilted Nappa leather seats, a panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade and a head-up display. The Festive Edition retains these features, with the Tan and Black interior serving as its key distinguishing element compared with the regular Premium variant.
BYD Sealion 7 Festive Edition: Price, Availability
Introduced in India in 2025, the BYD Sealion 7 has more than 4,500 units in operation across the country, according to the company.
With production limited to 150 units, the Festive Edition adds an exclusive interior option to BYD India's premium electric SUV line-up. Its ₹50.60 lakh (ex-showroom) price remains the stated price for the special edition.
