Acer has announced four new high-end gaming monitors under its Predator brand at CES 2024. Designed to deliver immersive and smooth gaming experiences, the new lineup includes two MiniLED models and two OLED displays ranging from 34 to 57 inches.
Leading the range is the massive 57-inch Predator Z57 gaming monitor. It has a DUHD resolution of 7680x2160 and a 120Hz refresh rate, so it utilizes 2304-zone MiniLED backlighting for outstanding brightness, black levels and contrast. Its 32:9 ultra-wide aspect ratio and 1000R curved screen aim to offer immersiveness in games and multi-tasking. The Predator Z57 touts VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification for vibrant colours and visibility of fine details.
Next is the curved 34-inch Predator X34 V3 with a 21:9 aspect ratio and 3440x1440 resolution. Its MiniLED panel supports a 180Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time and DCI-P3 94% colour gamut for fluid, colourful gameplay. Connectivity includes HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4.
Acer's new OLED offerings consist of the 39-inch Predator X39 and 34-inch Predator X34 X, featuring 3840x1600 resolution, up to 240Hz refresh rate, and 0.01ms response time. They provide wide viewing angles and a DCI-P3 99% colour space on their 800R curved screens. VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification is also included.
All four monitors support AMD FreeSync Premium, including USB Type-C connectivity and a built-in KVM switch. Pricing ranges from $899 for the Predator X34 V3 to $2,499 for the Predator Z57. They will be available starting in Q1-Q2 2024 across North America, EMEA and China.
