Asus has unveiled the latest iteration of its gaming phone lineup, the ROG Phone 8 series at CES 2024. The ROG Phone 8 promises to redefine mobile gaming excellence with a revamped design and cutting-edge features.
The ROG Phone 8 has a slimmer and lighter body measuring 8.9mm thin and weighing in at 225g, helping it transition into a premium all-round flagship. It features a 6.78" AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate and is claimed to offer 2500 nits of peak brightness.

The ROG Phone 8 is powered by a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and up to 18GB of RAM, delivering unparalleled performance for gaming and daily usage. Its efficient thermal system and advanced display ensure comfortable marathon gaming sessions.
The ROG Phone 8 series is also IP68-rated and has AI-powered features such as X-Sense, X Capture, AI Noise Cancellation and more to enhance gaming and content creation. It features a versatile triple-camera system headlined by a 50-megapixel primary camera with 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 3.0, a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 32 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS.
The customizable lighting and mini-LED elements form the AniMe Vision matrix, allowing owners to showcase their style. The ROG Phone 8 and 8 Pro are priced at $1,099 (~₹91,333) and $1,199 (~₹99,644) for the 16GB + 256GB storage models, respectively, while the 24GB + 1TB variant is priced at $1,499 (~₹1,24,575).
