The Citroën Basalt is available in six variants, with two engine options that can be paired with either MT or AT gearbox.
Citroën India has finally revealed the price list of all the variants of the Basalt. The coupe SUV is available in three trim levels – You, Plus, and Max. All trims are available with naturally-aspirated and turbo petrol engine options, except for the base spec You trim. Yes, just like the C3 and the C3 Aircross, the Basalt is also devoid of a diesel engine option. Check the prices of all the variants below:
Citroën Basalt Variants | Price (Ex-showroom) |
---|---|
1.2 NA YOU | ₹7,99,000 |
1.2 NA PLUS | ₹9,99,000 |

That coupe roof drop design adds another feather to Citroën’s cap, and if you want to know how it drives, check out our review below:
Both the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated and turbo petrol engine options are the same as the Citroen C3 Aircross, and their respective tunes of 81 bhp/ 115 Nm and 109 bhp/ 190 Nm are also the same as the sub-compact SUV C3 Aircross.
However, the Citroën Basalt has made significant innovations on the features front. The unique seat lift cushion with the rear seat allows you to adjust the under-thigh supports. Additionally, the Citroën Basalt’s chassis has been built using ultra-high strength steel, making the body structure more rigid. Plus, with six airbags available as standard and the entertaining experience that comes courtesy of the 10.25-inch infotainment screen and 7-inch digital instrument cluster, all wrapped up in that unique and eye-catching design — the Citroën Basalt presents quite the strong case for itself.
