Aditya Jairaj, CEO and MD of Stellantis India, has confirmed that despite delays, the C3X remains on track for a mid-2024 launch. This announcement comes amidst anticipation, as enthusiasts eagerly await details about Citroen's Tata Curvv rival.

The C3X is poised to challenge conventions with its coupe-SUV design, boasting a sleek roofline reminiscent of a coupe paired with rugged body cladding and a raised ride height for a distinctive crossover appeal. Citroën aims to carve out a niche for the C3X by positioning it as an 'SUV-coupe', offering consumers a refreshing alternative in the competitive sedan segment.
Built on the versatile C-Cubed platform, shared with Citroën's existing line-up, the C3X promises cost-efficient engineering without compromising on features. Learning from past experiences, Citroën has pledged to equip the C3X with a host of premium features from the outset, including electric folding mirrors, automatic climate control, and wireless charging, among others.

Under the hood, the C3X will be powered by a 110 bhp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, providing adequate performance for urban and highway driving. While some may lament the lack of a more powerful engine option, Citroën’s focus on efficiency and versatility aligns with its target audience's needs.
Anticipated to debut in June-July 2024, followed by an electric variant in early 2025, the C3X aims to rival established players such as the Honda City and Hyundai Verna. Citroën's reputation for offering value for money suggests that the C3X may undercut its competitors in terms of pricing, making it an enticing proposition for budget-conscious buyers.
