The Multistrada V4 RS is the flagship ADV offering from the Italian brand

Ducati India has launched the highly anticipated Multistrada V4 RS, priced at ₹38.40 lakh (ex-showroom). This flagship adventure motorcycle represents Ducati's pinnacle of adventure riding, with mind-blowing performance figures, cutting-edge technology, and a truly drool-worthy design. As the sportiest iteration of the Multistrada, it's also the most expensive.

The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS has a distinctive styling, featuring a unique livery and bodywork inspired by the Pikes Peak variant. To minimise weight, it incorporates lightweight components such as a carbon fibre beak, mudguards, hand guards, and heat shields. Its sleek design is further enhanced by the Iceberg White colour scheme, complemented by contrasting red accents. The single-sided swingarm and technopolymer tail section add a touch of sportiness, giving the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS a truly dynamic appearance.

The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS has an extensive electronics suite, featuring four power modes, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and four ride modes. Additionally, it offers advanced electronic aids, including cornering ABS, adaptive cruise control, navigation, and more.

At the heart of the Ducati Multistrada V4 RS lies the potent 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, pumping out 180 bhp at 12,250rpm and 118 Nm at 9,500rpm. This makes it the most powerful adventure motorcycle in its class, outperforming the Granturismo V4 motor's 170 bhp and 125 Nm. With a focus on performance and acceleration, the power output has been increased, while torque has been slightly reduced. The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS also has the iconic Ducati dry clutch and features a bi-directional quick-shifter for that cutting-edge performance from a sports bike to be translated on an adventure touring monster.

The bike features an aluminium monocoque chassis, suspended by electronically adjustable Öhlins suspension. The RS variant has a modified aluminium frame with a lighter titanium subframe, which saves 2.5 kg over the standard variant. This also has a tighter rake angle and wheelbase to accommodate the 17-inch wheel and enhance handling. The frame is supported by an electronically adjustable Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 USD fork and a fully adjustable Öhlins TTX36 monoshock. The bike is equipped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres, wrapped around lightweight forged Marchesini wheels that are 2.7 kg lighter than those on the V4 S variant. Braking is handled by Brembo Stylema callipers, consisting of twin 330mm discs at the front and a 265mm disc at the rear. Additionally, the use of carbon fibre and titanium elements, along with a small battery, has further reduced weight, resulting in a 3 kg savings compared to the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak.
