The new Ducati XDiavel V4 will launch in India later too.
Ducati has unveiled its latest power cruiser, the XDiavel V4, sharing core mechanics with the Diavel V4 while offering distinct styling and ergonomics. The transformation maintains the bike's performance DNA while adapting it for riders seeking a more laid-back riding experience.
Under its redesigned bodywork, the XDiavel V4 houses the latest 1,158cc Granturismo V4 engine as the Diavel V4, churning out the same impressive 168 bhp and 126 Nm. In a notable departure from its predecessor, Ducati has replaced the traditional belt drive with a chain drive system, aligning it with the standard Diavel's configuration.
The bike's cruiser identity is emphasized through thoughtful ergonomic changes. Riders will find forward-mounted footpegs and swept-back handlebars, creating a more relaxed riding position. The seat height has been lowered by 20 mm to 770 mm, making it more accessible. However, the motorcycle retains the same aluminium monocoque frame, fully adjustable suspension setup, and premium braking components. Similarly, the machine gun-styled exhaust has remained the same.
Passenger comfort hasn't been overlooked, with Ducati engineering a wider, longer, and better-padded pillion seat. The bike comes standard with a detachable passenger grab handle. For riders preferring a sportier stance, Ducati offers mid-mounted footpegs as an optional accessory, along with various performance parts and luggage solutions. The XDiavel V4's technology package includes the latest 6.9-inch TFT display, borrowed from Ducati's flagship Panigale and Streetfighter models, offering enhanced connectivity and information display. Aside from that the same plethora of ride assist features including three power modes, four ride modes, and cruise control has continued just like before.
Available in either Burning Red or Black Lava colour options, the XDiavel V4 is expected to be priced above the current Diavel V4's ₹26.21 lakh (ex-showroom, India) when it reaches Indian showrooms.
