Ducati has finally launched the XDiavel V4 in India. Available as fully-imported CBU, the Ducati XDiavel V4 is offered in two colour schemes — Burning Red and Black Lava — priced at ₹30.89 lakh and ₹31.20 lakh (both ex-showroom). This marks the first time the XDiavel is offered in a red shade that is distinct from the iconic Ducati Red and Racing Red colour options.
The XDiavel is a more laid-back version of the standard Diavel V4 in terms of design and seating ergonomics. It is designed to offer an easy, enjoyable ride that balances cruiser comfort with the sporty performance that is associated with the XDiavel's identity. Staying true to the Diavel design, the XDiavel looks leaner and meaner than the standard model thanks to a low-slung stance.
Details like the ovular LED headlight with a LED DRL ring, the LED taillight and the dynamic turn indicators integrated into the side panels have been carried over from the Diavel V4. Ducati’s flagship sport cruiser carries a muscular design featuring a sculpted fuel tank, and a short floating tail section. Other notable visual highlights include star-pattern alloy wheels, a four-barrel exhaust muffler, a radiator cowl, and a license plate mount on the rear tyre hugger.

As for ergonomics, the seat height of the Ducati XDiavel is accessible at 770 mm, while its handlebar has been repositioned to make low-speed manoeuvring easier. Rear suspension travel has been increased by 25 mm, while the seats are now 30 percent wider, 50 percent longer, and 25 percent thicker than the previous model. Ducati has further enhanced passenger comfort by offering a grab handle as standard. Ducati is also offering centre-set footpegs as part of the brand’s official accessory catalogue.
Ducati XDiavel V4 weighs 229 kg (kerb), 6 kg lighter than the XDiavel 1260 S, primarily due to the new V4 engine employed. Suspension duties are handled by a fully-adjustable setup, comprising a 50 mm front fork and a rear mono-shock with a cantilever layout. Braking hardware consists of dual 330 mm front discs and a single 265 mm rear disc, paired with Brembo Stylema callipers.
In terms of features, Ducati offers a 6.9-inch TFT colour instrument panel borrowed from the Panigale V4. This console offers Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone pairing (calls, messages, music) and can support an optional Turn-by-turn navigation system via the Ducati Link App. Ducati is also offering semi-rigid 48-litre panniers as accessories for those who love to go touring.

Besides convenience, Ducati is also offering an extensive electronics package including three power modes and four riding modes (Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet), traction control, wheelie control, launch control, cruise control, and cornering ABS.

Powering the Ducati XDiavel is the same 1,158 cc, V4 Granturismo, liquid-cooled engine that propels the Diavel V4. This unit dishes out 166 bhp at 10,750 rpm and peak torque of 126 Nm at 7,500 rpm. The MotoGP-derived counter-rotating crankshaft minimises gyroscopic forces, enhancing agility despite the motorcycle’s muscular proportions. Transmission duties are carried out by a 6-speed gearbox paired with a bi-directional quickshifter. As for performance, the Ducati XDiavel V4 can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in less than 3 seconds.
