Dyson has launched its latest audio product, the Dyson OnTrac headphones globally. The OnTrac headphones claim to provide top-of-the-line noise cancellation and customisation options.
The OnTrac uses 40mm neodymium drivers capable of producing a wide frequency range from 6Hz to 21kHz. An Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system relying on eight microphones works to cancel up to 40dB of ambient sound. Dyson claims a battery life of 55 hours with ANC on for the OnTrac headphones.
Dyson used Microfiber ear cushions for better comfort and fit, and precision-engineered headband distribute weight evenly. In addition, users can customise the look with colour caps and cushions.
The MyDyson app allows you to personalise the sound quality with EQ modes and volume tracking. The control toggles are located on the right earbud.
The OnTrac headphones are available for $499.99 (Rs 41,800) in CNC aluminium, copper, nickel, and ceramic colourways. For personalisation, cushion and cap colours can be purchased separately.
Dyson says it will launch the OnTrac headphones in India soon as its second offering after the Dyson Zone. The Zone headphones debuted in 2023, starting at Rs 59,900 with the bundled travel visor, which is essentially an air purifier in disguise.
