The E-Motorrad G1 Cargo cycle has been designed for last-mile delivery.
Pune-based E-Motorrad has expanded its cargo cycle portfolio with the addition of the new G1 Cargo e-cycle. Priced at ₹49,999 (ex-showroom), the new E-Motorrad G1 has been engineered and designed for last-mile delivery and heavy-load transport. The brand claims that the G1 will cut fuel costs by up to 40% and lower maintenance costs compared to traditional vehicles (two-wheelers).
The E-Motorrad G1 Cargo is powered by dual 48V 10.2 Ah removable batteries. With the battery fully charged, it can travel up to 100 km with pedal assist, and with throttle-only acceleration, it is good for 75 km (claimed) range. The battery powers a 250W rear hub motor, and while E-Motorrad does not mention the top speed of the electric cycle, it will be able to carry a payload up to 150 kg.
The G1 electric cycle is built around a high-tensile longtail steel frame supported by an 80 mm fork. 180 mm mechanical disc brakes perform braking duties, and it rides on 24"x3.0" / 20"x3.0" wheels. On the feature front, the speed and range are displayed on an LCD digital console.
E-Motorrad is offering the G1 e-cycle with 5 years of warranty, but that is applicable only to the frame. “The G1 Cargo E-Cycle is not just for businesses; it’s a solution for anyone who needs to move goods from one place to another in an efficient, cost-effective way. Whether you're a local delivery rider or someone transporting personal goods, the G1 allows you to save on fuel, reduce maintenance costs, and do your part in building a greener future,” said Kunal Gupta, Co-Founder & CEO of EMotorad.
The G1 cargo e-cycle is now available for purchase via e-Motorrad’s dealer network, and can also be purchased online and on several e-commerce platforms as well.
