E3 Electric.Ai Starts Production Of E3 TRION Electric Scooter in Hyderabad

E3 Electric.Ai has commenced production of its E3 TRION electric scooter at its manufacturing facility in Hyderabad, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin in batches from October 7, 2026. The company said the date also marks its second anniversary. The E3 TRION will be available in three variants -- C1, C1X and C2 -- designed for youngsters, families and business users. The variants will be introduced in planned phases and offered in six colour options: Nova Blue, Teal Blue, Graphite Grey, Misty Green, Solar Red and Luna White.

According to E3 Electric.Ai, the scooter has completed a development and validation programme focused on reliability, safety and durability. The programme included more than 550 Design Validation Plan (DVP) tests, accelerated durability testing and road trials across mixed terrain.

The E3 TRION underwent more than 550 DVP tests, covering areas such as chassis dynamometer power testing, range testing and brake-pressure sensor validation.

E3 Electric.Ai also carried out accelerated durability testing using a Cam Drum Test Rig with a 205kg payload. The scooter was subjected to water-wading tests at depths between 100mm and 300mm at different speeds, as well as heavy-rainstorm and water-wash testing.

The testing programme also included a 260km mixed-terrain round trip between Bengaluru and Hogenakkal. The route covered mountain roads, sharp bends, gradients and rough surfaces.

Commenting on the start of production, E3 Electric.Ai founder and CEO Sanjeev P. said the company's engineering and validation programme was focused on preparing the E3 TRION for customer use.

He added that with production now underway, the scooter has moved from testing to customer deliveries, with the first 100 customers forming the company's founding-owner community.

First 100 Customers To Get Extended Warranty

The first 100 E3 TRION customers will receive an 8Y100K+ extended warranty covering the battery and specified key components for eight years or 1 lakh kilometres, whichever comes first.

They will also receive one year of E3 Wingman roadside assistance.

The combined package is valued at ₹6,500 for the C1 variant with its 2.3kWh battery and ₹8,500 for the C1X and C2 variants, which are equipped with a 3kWh battery. The offer is subject to terms and conditions.
