From better technology to a more powerful powertrain, there are a lot of new additions to the XPulse 210.
Ahead of its global debut today at the 2024 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Hero MotoCorp warmed up to the occasion by releasing the first official teaser image of the new Hero XPulse 210. The new dual-sport bike shows significant technological advancements and design improvements over its predecessor. Here’s what stood out from the teaser:
Design-wise, the Xpulse 210 builds upon its predecessor's styling while introducing modern elements. Notable features include a new round LED projector headlight with a protective brace, a more aggressive front beak design, an enhanced windscreen, and a redesigned fuel tank. The motorcycle can also be spotted here sporting new side panels, LED turn indicators, and LED taillights.
A significant upgrade will be the addition of a new colour TFT display, replacing the reverse LCD screen found in previous Hero models. The new instrument cluster will offer comprehensive information including a bar-type tachometer, speedometer, coolant temperature gauge, and gear position indicator. The presence of a 'Road' mode in the display suggests multiple riding will also be available, and switchable ABS should also be available in the mix.
The new Hero XPulse 210 is expected to inherit the 210 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine from the Karizma XMR, which produces 25 bhp at 9,250rpm and 20 Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. However, Hero is naturally expected to tune the engine and gearing ratios to better suit the bike’s both on-road and off-road riding capabilities. Besides, a six-speed transmission should further enhance its highway cruising capabilities.
The complete specifications and features of the 2025 Xpulse 210 will be revealed during its official presentation at EICMA 2024 later today. Alongside, Hero is also slated to reveal three new motorcycles, two of which will come from its fully electric brand, Vida.
