Here’s what Honda’s two-wheeler division had to showcase at EICMA 2025.
Honda has made a commanding statement at EICMA 2025 in Milan, unveiling a diverse and technologically advanced line-up that underscores its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the joy of mobility. The global debuts include the CB1000GT sport tourer, Honda’s first electric motorcycle – the WN7, and the V3R 900 E-Compressor Prototype, the world’s first motorcycle equipped with an electronically controlled compressor.
Alongside these highlights, Honda also showcased the expansion of its E-Clutch technology, new model updates, and special collaborations that reflect its dynamic vision for the future.
Taking center stage, the Honda CB1000GT made its world premiere as a next-generation sport tourer that blends Fireblade-derived performance with long-distance comfort. Developed under the concept “High Performance Tourer – going faster, farther with comfort,” the CB1000GT pairs thrilling acceleration with refined ergonomics for both rider and passenger.

Powered by a 1000cc DOHC inline four-cylinder engine, the GT benefits from a model-specific fuel injection system and throttle-by-wire control, offering smooth throttle response and reduced fatigue on extended journeys. The model’s Showa EERA (Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment) suspension, six-axis IMU-based Cornering ABS, and cruise control further elevate the touring experience.
Its aerodynamic design, adjustable five-step windscreen, and sculpted front cowl combine sharp aesthetics with excellent wind protection. The CB1000GT also integrates Honda RoadSync connectivity, a quickshifter, heated grips, and pannier cases, reinforcing its position as a premium sport tourer which is bound for global markets in 2026.
Marking a historic moment, Honda introduced its first electric motorcycle, the WN7, developed under the concept “Be the Wind.” Designed as an electric naked model in the brand’s FUN category, it offers riders the serene yet exhilarating sensation of gliding through the air, accompanied only by the natural sounds of the environment.

The Honda WN7 features a frameless chassis built around a central aluminum battery case, optimizing weight distribution and achieving a slim, compact profile. Its 9.3 kWh lithium-ion battery supports both CCS2 fast charging and Type 2 home charging, enabling an 80% charge in about 30 minutes and a 140 km range (WMTC mode) on a full charge.
A 50 kW motor that puts out 100 Nm torque ensures performance comparable to a 1000cc combustion motorcycle, while regenerative braking and Deceleration Selector features offer a customizable, intuitive riding experience. Visually, the WN7 introduces a signature horizontal light bar and a dedicated black-and-gold color scheme, forming the new identity for Honda’s upcoming electric range.
Another highlight of Honda’s EICMA showcase is the V3R 900 E-Compressor Prototype, which represents a significant technological milestone. Powered by a 900cc water-cooled 75° V3 engine, the prototype integrates the world’s first electronically controlled compressor for motorcycles — a system that actively manages intake air compression independent of engine speed.

This innovation delivers highly responsive torque from low rpm, giving the 900cc unit performance comparable to a 1200cc engine, while maintaining strong environmental efficiency. Hence, this electronic compressor essentially acts as a turbocharger. This model will also debut the new “Honda Flagship Wing” emblem, soon to feature on future top-tier Honda motorcycles.
Honda continues to democratize its E-Clutch technology, expanding its availability to five additional models for 2026 — the XL750 Transalp, CB750 Hornet, NX500, CBR500R, and CB500 Hornet.
This cutting-edge system, which allows riders to change gears without clutch lever operation, delivers faster and smoother gearshifts than conventional quickshifters. The technology enhances control in both urban and off-road environments, allowing manual clutch use when preferred. The expansion of E-Clutch-equipped models reflects Honda’s goal to make advanced riding technologies accessible to a broader range of riders, including A2 licence holders in Europe.
Beyond the headline premieres, Honda also displayed the CB1000F, a retro-inspired naked performance machine that combines evocative styling with a Fireblade-derived powertrain. The SH125i, Europe’s best-selling scooter, received a substantial redesign for 2026 with sharper aesthetics, a 5-inch TFT display, and a cohesive design language aligned with the SH350i family.

Adding colour to the event, Honda revealed new paint schemes for models like the GL1800 Gold Wing, NC750X, and SH350i, showcasing the brand’s attention to visual refinement. A unique collaboration with Sanrio’s ‘Kuromi’ character was also unveiled, featuring custom-wrapped CB750 Hornet and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade models — an example of Honda’s creative outreach to younger riders and pop culture enthusiasts.
