TVS has showcased a host of connected solutions in partnership with Aegis Rider at EICMA 2025.
TVS Motor Company has unveiled a revolutionary Heads-Up Display (HUD) AR Helmet in partnership with Swiss startup Aegis Rider at the ongoing EICMA 2025. This marks a new chapter in bike safety technology and smart connectivity solutions.
The new Aegis Rider HUD Helmet, showcased at the TVS pavilion within the TVS Connect Zone, uses spatial anchoring and augmented reality (AR) to project key ride information directly into the rider’s field of view. It displays real-time navigation, hazard alerts, and call notifications through a transparent digital overlay — allowing riders to stay informed without taking their eyes off the road.
This breakthrough marks a major advancement in rider-assist technology, demonstrating how innovation can elevate both safety and convenience. Visitors at EICMA can get a live demonstration of the helmet’s integration with the TVS Apache RTR 310, showcasing how performance motorcycling can be augmented with technology.

Built from a carbon fiber shell, the helmet incorporates magnetic binocular AR glass and a µOLED projector with adaptive brightness and anti-glare features for optimal visibility in all conditions. Powered by a Qualcomm processor, it has a 7,000mAh rechargeable battery offering up to four hours of runtime. It connects wirelessly to both motorcycles and smartphones.
The helmet offers access to navigation, calls, messages, and music controls while on the go. Moreover, it has a 5-megapixel action camera to capture one’s journey. The helmet complies with ECE 22.06 and DOT global safety certification standards.
According to Simon Hecker, Founder and CEO of Aegis Rider, this innovation represents years of research in spatially anchored displays. It’s designed to keep data steady in front of the rider, regardless of movement. The partnership with TVS enables deeper integration with vehicle systems, unlocking additional displayable information such as turn signals, RPM, and fuel level. TVS says that its partnership with Aegis Rider will lead to future developments in the field of ride assistance, vehicle-to-everything (V2X) connectivity, and cloud-based ride analytics.
At EICMA 2025, the TVS Connect zone also features the TVS X, India’s first Android Auto integrated electric scooter, co-developed in partnership with Google. Riders benefit from wireless pairing, seamless navigation, hands-free communication, and infotainment via Google Assistant.
Besides connected solutions, TVS Motor is exhibiting six new petrol and electric bikes at EICMA 2025. The company also showcased the first set of Norton motorcycles — under the Manx and Atlas lines — which are headed our way next year.
