What is BaaS?

Manufacturers like MG Motor, Tata Motors, and Maruti Suzuki offer BaaS. Buyers pay for the vehicle body and rent the battery. The rental is ₹/km driven. MG started this with Windsor EV. Tata added Punch EV facelift. Maruti launched e Vitara with it.
