With a load capacity of up to 1 tonne, the new Euler Turbo EV 1000 boasts an estimated real-world range of 140-170 km on a single charge.
Euler Motors has expanded its portfolio by launching the new Turbo EV 1000, a 1-tonne electric commercial vehicle priced from ₹5.99 lakh(ex-showroom), positioning it as an affordable alternative to diesel mini trucks.
Euler claims that the new Turbo EV 1000 is good for a real-world range of 140-170 km and 140 Nm of peak torque at disposal here; it earns the distinction of boasting the highest torque in its segment. The vehicle features 230 mm disc brakes on R13 wheels and can navigate gradients whilst maintaining payload capacity. A standout feature is the CCS2 fast-charging capability, which provides 50 km of range in 15 minutes at public charging infrastructure. The company estimates annual savings of up to ₹1.15 lakh compared to diesel equivalents through lower operating costs.
"We are proud to be launching Euler Turbo EV 1000 today, as we believe it marks the meeting of deep engineering innovation with real world practical needs of India's logistics industry – to deliver a segment-first combination of performance AND affordability," said Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors.
The vehicle targets small fleet operators and driver-entrepreneurs working on thin margins, offering lower total cost of ownership compared to internal combustion engine alternatives. Euler Motors positions the launch as addressing the current 2% electric vehicle penetration in the 4-wheeler commercial segment.
"There is an urgent need for action towards sustainability, or else we will risk questioning by future generations. However, it is not possible to expect scale adoption without responding to practical everyday challenges," Kumar added.
The Turbo EV 1000 launches in three variants: City (₹5.99 lakh), Fast Charge (₹8.19 lakh), and Maxx (₹7.19 lakh). EMI options begin at ₹10,000 per month with a ₹49,999 down payment.
