The compact design of these new chargers makes it ideal to be kept indoors.
Exicom's latest unveil, Spin Air EV AC charger is the brand’s most compact charging solution yet. Despite being available from 7.5 kWh to 22 kWh capacities, the shape of the charger box remains the same, and that’s the USP here.
Joining the ranks of Simon, and other OEM companies, the Exicom Spin Air EV AC chargers will find applications mostly in residential spaces. Keeping this indoor design in mind, this charger boasts a very minimal and compact design, which also makes it less cumbersome and can be used on the go.
Available only for four-wheelers, the Spin Air EV AC charger gets an IP65 rating, thus can also be used outside in the ‘toughest conditions’, claims the company. The energy efficiency of the chargers is further enhanced by solar compatibility and features like load balancing and power sharing.
Keeping in mind we live in the ‘age of smartphones’, the Spine Air EV AC chargers also get smartphone compatibility and can connect to both iPhones and Android phones. Via the Spin Mobile app you can also remote charge and schedule charging hours, plus get key information about the charger like battery health, state of charger, etc.
With this new charging solution, this homegrown power management company is now working its way to expand its customer base in Europe, the UK, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Middle-East. Exicom’s main aim with its charging solutions (ranging from 3.3 kW to 360 kW) is to make faster EV chargers and at the same time to be more accessible, smart, and convenient.
