GTA 6 Trailer Released Early Teasing Vice City & Lucia's Criminal Saga

Rockstar Games sent the gaming world into a frenzy today with the unexpected early release of the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI trailer. The trailer was initially scheduled to drop on December 5th at 9 am ET but was leaked online 15 hours prior, forcing Rockstar to release it ahead of schedule.

The two-minute trailer gave fans their first look at the next iteration of the legendary GTA franchise, which is headed to Leonida, home to Vice City - a fictionalized version of Miami. It introduces Lucia, the first female protagonist in a GTA game, who is seen behind bars before engaging in Bonnie and Clyde-style criminal adventures around the city.

Fans were also treated to glimpses of classic GTA elements like fast cars, gunplay action, stealing money and social media integration. The trailer confirms the leaked details that the game will be set in Vice City and will focus on a female lead. Rockstar has announced GTA 6 will launch in 2025 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Ten years since GTA 5 launched to immense popularity, excitement for its follow-up has been building for years.
