The upcoming Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 has been spotted without camouflage ahead of its expected global debut at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan on November 3. The latest images show production-ready styling and several differences from the X440 and X440 T.
Although it is based on the X440 T platform, the Sprint 440 has a traditional cruiser design, with a long, low stance. It features a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, swept-back handlebar, scooped single-piece seat and compact rear fender. Forward-set footpegs are expected to provide a relaxed riding position. The bike also gets blacked-out components and a new exhaust canister with a metallic heat shield. The cruiser styling is very important for the brand as Harley-Davidson bikes are renowned globally for their iconic cruiser motorcycle lineage.

The circular TFT instrument console appears similar to the unit on the Harley-Davidson X440T, but sits at the centre of the handlebar. The Sprint 440 retains the X440’s basic chassis architecture, while a different rear subframe accommodates its lower seat and cruiser styling. The revised subframe should also result in a lower stance and also lower seat height, making the bike accessible to shorter riders.
Power is expected to come from the tried and tested 440 cc, air/oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine, producing 27 bhp and 38 Nm. The powerplant is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The upcoming Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 will be manufactured by Hero MotoCorp in India and it will be interesting to see whether or not the cruiser bike gets exported.
The Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 is expected to go on sale in India towards the end of 2026 and the pricing could be close to ₹3 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete against the Honda Rebel 300 and the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350.
