Harley-Davidson has officially unveiled the Sprint 440, expanding its entry-level single-cylinder range ahead of its public debut at EICMA 2026. Developed on the same 440 cc co-developed platform as the X440, the new motorcycle is styled as a accessible compact cruiser. Featuring low-slung, classic cruiser proportions, the Sprint 440 adopts styling elements inspired by the manufacturer's larger-displacement models, including a round LED headlight, a sculpted fuel tank, and a bobbed rear fender.

The Sprint 440 is powered by the established 440 cc, single-cylinder, air- and oil-cooled engine paired with a six-speed transmission and an assist-and-slip clutch. The engine delivers 26 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 38 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. Suspension duties are managed by 43 mm inverted front forks with 130 mm of travel and twin rear shock absorbers featuring seven-step preload adjustment with 76 mm of wheel travel. Braking is handled by a 320 mm front disc with a two-piston calliper and a 240 mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper, supported by dual-channel ABS as standard.

Ergonomics are centred around accessibility, highlighted by a low seat height of 683 mm, a narrow chassis section, and a kerb weight of 187 kg. The motorcycle rides on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel setup fitted with 100/90-19 front and 150/60 ZR17 rear tyres. Technology features include a circular 3.5-inch colour TFT instrument console, full LED lighting, and a USB Type-C charging port positioned above the headlamp. The model carries a 9-litre fuel tank capacity and offers ground clearance of 147 mm.
The Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 will be offered in three colour schemes: Dark Billiard Gray, Vivid Black, and Teal Thunder, featuring distinctive chequered tank graphics and brand badging. Following its global reveal at EICMA 2026, the cruiser is anticipated to be launched in India with an expected price of around ₹2.90 lakh to ₹3.00 lakh.
