It took the largest Indian two-wheeler manufacturer four decades to achieve this milestone.
Hero MotoCorp has reached a major milestone by manufacturing over 125 million two-wheelers since it began its operations. To commemorate this occasion, the brand has launched special edition versions of its three popular models — Splendor+, Passion+ and Vida VX2.
The Indian manufacturer achieved this production milestone over four decades after beginning operations with the CD100 in 1985. Hero has consistently hit major production targets, reaching 50 million units in 2015, 75 million in 2017, and 100 million in 2021. With the latest achievement, the marque has successfully cemented its position as India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer.

The Hero Splendor+ and Hero Passion+ special editions retain their standard mechanical specifications, with changes limited to styling updates. Both bikes now feature a graphite grey colour scheme paired with graphics in black, brown and gold. The editions are distinguished by a 3D "125M" badge that sets them apart from regular variants.
The Vida VX2 takes a different approach to the special edition treatment. Unlike the motorcycles, the scooter does not receive unique colours and maintains its existing colour options. However, it features the same 3D "125M" logo positioned on the front apron to mark the milestone edition.
All other aspects of the three models remain identical to their standard counterparts, with the special editions focusing purely on visual differentiation to commemorate Hero's production achievement.
